Hello Friends and Neighbors,

Today, a coalition of Nebraska State Senators sent a letter to our state's federal delegation to raise serious concerns over the role of Elon Musk within the current administration. Musk has gained significant and largely unchecked influence over federal agencies, raising constitutional, ethical, and security questions.

The letter, signed by nine of my colleagues, calls attention to Musk’s ability to influence federal agencies without congressional oversight, his financial ties to industries regulated by the agencies he oversees, and his record-breaking campaign contributions. We assert that Musk’s level of control sets a dangerous precedent for private interests exerting undue influence on government operations.

The letter urges our federal representatives to launch a formal investigation into any legal and ethical violations that may have occurred. No individual—regardless of wealth or political connections—has the power to operate without oversight.
