I was so grateful to be featured in this short news piece on KMTV, Channel 3 about millennials getting involved in local politics along with Alejandra Escobar, the leader of Young Nebraskans in Action at the Heartland Workers Center. I am so moved by the grit, courage, and tenacity of young people all over our country who are taking the initiative to become leaders in policymaking and advocacy. Anyone can observe that this is a generation that believes in science and innovation, that rejects discrimination, that wants more equity of opportunity in our workplaces and neighborhoods and our schools.
