Hunt seeks District 8 seat

"I've always been a political person," Hunt said. "I grew up being teased a little bit because I liked to read the news every day."

Hunt emerged into the business world in 2005 — just one year after she graduated from Blair High School — with Princess Lasertron, a bridal design boutique. Her next business, Hello Holiday, began as an online concept before evolving into a brick-and-mortar store situated on the booming Underwood Avenue in the Dundee neighborhood of Omaha.
