I believe that when unions in Nebraska succeed, all Nebraskans succeed.

Today I spoke at the Nebraska State AFL-CIO COPE Convention​, something I've been looking forward to for a long time. I believe that when unions in Nebraska succeed, all Nebraskans succeed. The right to organize and bargain collectively are critical to raising wages, strengthening the middle class, and securing the economic fairness every worker deserves, and all Nebraskan workers, families, and communities benefit from that.

Nebraskans need Title X Funding

It is not the role of the State Legislature to choose who my healthcare provider will be—politicians are not doctors. While Nebraska refuses to take policy measures to expand access to affordable healthcare, they continue to double down on anti-woman, anti-worker, anti-family positions by removing funding for the only access to healthcare some of us have.

I will always be a champion for the WCA and the people they serve. 

A few months ago, the Women's Center for Advancement interviewed me for their #WCAwithinreach campaign, coinciding with the opening of their beautiful new building at 38th & Harney in Omaha.
